Danny Pugh could be the man to make way, while manager Tony Pulis has other selection headaches after substitutes Ricardo Fuller and Glenn Whelan starred in Saturday’s heroic draw at Aston Villa.

Goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen is expected to be fit after a head injury forced his half-time withdrawal on Saturday.
