Man dies in single-car crash in Limerick

A man has died in a road crash in Co. Limerick.

A man has died in a road crash in Co. Limerick.

The 27-year-old died after the car he was driving collided with a ditch on the N24 at Ballysimon at around 9.40am this morning.

He was the only person in the car and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post mortem is due to take place at the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick later today and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
