Kenny says FG morale has improved

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has said that morale within his party has vastly improved since its disastrous showing in last year's general election.

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has said that morale within his party has vastly improved since its disastrous showing in last year's general election.

Mr Kenny said mistakes learned from the defeat will benefit Fine Gael in next year's local and European elections.

He also said the second Nice Treaty campaign helped the party to re-engage with ordinary people and make them feel part of the political process.
