Three motorcyclists have been taken to hospital following a collision with a car in Mayo.

The incident happened at Islandeady on the Castlebar to Westport road at 10.30 this morning.

It is understood one of the motorcyclists is in a serious condition.

It is believed the female driver of the car was uninjured.
