Michael Lohan plans to be in court today to support estranged daughter Lindsay.
The ‘Mean Girls’ actress is due at the Beverly Hills Courthouse for a hearing in which her punishment for violating her probation will be revealed.
Her father intends to be there, despite his ex-wife Dina Lohan having a restraining order against him.
He told website X17online: "I'll definitely be there for Lindsay. As for Dina's restraining order against me, it has been in place for six years. We've been in the same courtroom before. If she wants to play that game, she can go ahead."
Dina Lohan – who has three other children with Michael - currently has a restraining order which requires her ex-husband to stay 100 yards away from his her at all times.
Lindsay recently failed two court-ordered drug tests and her probation will be revoked by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden Foxbut.
It had been claimed she may have to spend 30 days in prison as she waits for a probation violation hearing to be held.
The 24-year-old star - who reportedly tested positive for having both cocaine and amphetamines in her system - recently spent time in jail and rehab for failing to comply with the terms of her probation for a 2007 driving under influence (DUI) conviction.
