A 19-year-old woman became the latest victim yesterday afternoon in County Clare.

She was the sole occupant of a car that collided with another on the N67 at Dough - a post mortem is expected to take place later today.

Two male pedestrians lost their lives in separate crashes in County Galway.

And in the North, a young man aged 17 and a man in his forties were killed in collisions in Fermanagh and Tyrone.
