Gardai treating Limerick death as suspicious

Gardai in Limerick are investigating the discovery of a man's body in Moyross this morning.

Gardai in Limerick are investigating the discovery of a man's body in Moyross this morning.

The body was found by a member of the public at around am in the green area of College Avenue.

The man is believed to have been shot in the head and the back.

Gardai are treating the death as suspicious and a post mortem is due to be carried out later today.

The scene has also been sealed off pending technical examination.
