Kerry camp holds out hope for Ohio

The John Kerry election team has released a statement saying that, although George Bush has a lead of just under 3% with more than 87% of the vote counted in Ohio, they still believe they can win the state.

Some 250,000 votes remain to be counted.

One projection suggests John Kerry may have taken the state of Minnesota.
