Clooney denied entry to rest home
He may be on of Hollywood’s most recognisable stars, but a security guard at an old folks’ home near George Clooney’s Italian retreat recently shooed the actor away after failing to recognise him.
Gianbattista Mazzoleni, the director of the Sacred Heart rest home in Dizzasco, which is just a few minutes away from George’s Lake Como pad, has confirmed that the star was recently denied admittance.
“George turned up on his Harley-Davidson in all his bike gear and the security guard wouldn’t let him in,” Gianbattista tells Globe magazine. “He said he had never heard of George Clooney and no one was expected.”
George has apparently visited the nursing home several times, bringing DVDs and videos and spending hours talking to patients and doing drawings for them.
