Twin girls for Desperate Housewives' Bree
Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross has given birth to twin daughters.
Eden and Savannah, who are non-identical, made their debut in a Los Angeles hospital yesterday.
“Mother and babies are all doing well,” Cross’ spokeswoman Heidi Slan told People magazine.
The 44-year-old actress had been on bed rest since January as a precaution, but producers of the hit show brought the set into her home for scenes featuring her character, Bree Van De Kamp.
The twins are Cross and 49-year-old stockbroker husband Tom Mahoney’s first children.
In December the actress told People having babies later in life was “like a miracle”.
“I didn’t think it would happen,” she said.
