Representatives of the Palestinian Authority and the Israeli Labour Party are due to hold confidential talks with Northern politicians today to see if the Irish peace process could help the situation in the Middle East.
The two-day conference in Weston Park in Britain was organised by the Guardian newspaper.
Among those involved in the talks are SDLP leader Mark Durkan, Sinn Fein’s Martin McGuinness, Ulster Unionist Reg Empey and David Ervine, the leader of the Progressive Unionist Party.
