Veteran centre Mike Mullins has joined Christian Cullen on Munster's long-term injury list.

Munster coach Declan Kidney must be cursing his luck as Mullins tore Achilles ligaments in last Friday pre-season encounter with Northampton Saints.

Mullins will be sidelined for two months, at least, and it already severely limits Kidney's options behind the scrum going into the Celtic League.
