Irish officials have begun a marketing campaign for Irish seafood in six European countries.
Bord Iascaigh Mhara and Irish seafood exporters are holding promotions in France, Ireland's largest single export market for seafood, as well as in Germany, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg and Greece.
The campaign will consist of in-store displays and samples of Irish produce, which will be on sale at reduced prices.
Irish seafood exports were worth €436m last year, with 76% going to the European market.
