Tennis: Seles misses French Open
Three-times champion Monica Seles has pulled out of the French Open.
Her withdrawal was announced before the ceremony for the draw took place at Roland Garros.
Organisers did not give a reason for Seles' withdrawal.
The 27-year-old was ranked sixth in the preliminary seedings for Roland Garros.
She won the French in 1990, 1991 and 1992 and reached the quarter-finals last year.
