The Limerick senior hurling squad are to travel to Barcelona later this month.
The Shannonsiders had initially planned to go to Scotland for a long weekend, but there has been a
change of plan.
Celtic manager Martin O'Neill, a friend of new sponsor JP McManus, had given the side a team talk before their championship match against Tipperary last summer and the Northern Irishman invited the squad over to Parkhead to take in a Scottish Premier League game.
However, it has been decided that the panel will instead travel to Barcelona in mid-January.
