Anti-war protestors have finished their march at Shannon Airport.

Anti-war protestors have finished their march at Shannon Airport.

The protest began at noon today and involved several hundred people.

AFRI, Action from Ireland, arranged the protest calling for a stop to US military planes using the airport.

One of the speakers at Shannon today also included Denis Halliday, a former UN chief humanitarian aid co-ordinator.

The anti-war protestors marched on Shannon to highlight their concern over US plans to attack Iraq.
