Italy’s Massimo Florioli has taken a three-shot lead after carding a second-round 65 at the Madeira Open in Spain this morning.

Italy’s Massimo Florioli has taken a three-shot lead after carding a second-round 65 at the Madeira Open in Spain this morning.

Florioli is on nine under par, three shots clear of Holland’s Maarten Lafeber and French duo Benoit Teilleria and Olivier David, who has yet to begin his second round.

Ireland’s Des Smyth is currently on four under par after three holes of his second round.
