The Cork GAA Co Board has decided to grant LIT a walkover in tomorrow night's Waterford Crystal Cup fixture.
The Leesiders are unable to field a team as their players are all on strike due to the long-running row over who gets to appoint selectors for the senior hurling and football sides.
The LIT game was originally scheduled to take place last Sunday, but was postponed amid hopes that the impasse could be overcome.
No breakthrough has been achieved, however, and LIT will now play Clare in the Waterford Crystal Cup quarter-final on Sunday in Meelick.
