A 50-year-old man, who was critically ill after an incident in north Belfast last month, has died in hospital.

A 50-year-old man, who was critically ill after an incident in north Belfast last month, has died in hospital.

Police investigating reports of a fight in the Ballysillan area on March 29, found Lawrence Pritchard with serious injuries.

He was given first aid by officers and taken to hospital.

Mr Pritchard, from north Belfast, died in hospital last night.

A man in his 40s was arrested at the time, and was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
