Baby joy for Blue singer
Blue singer Anthony Costa today became the proud father of a 6lb 8oz baby girl.
The 22-year-old’s ex-fiancee Lucy Bolster gave birth to little Emily at 1.15am after a 48-hour delivery.
A spokesman said: “Mother and baby are doing fine. Anthony wanted to be there for the birth and wanted to spend some time with the baby.”
The boyband singer split with his then six-months pregnant girlfriend before Christmas, after two years together.
He was later seen clubbing and flirting with porn star Linsey Dawn McKenzie.
After Anthony proposed on the Costa del Sol the couple threw a star-studded showbiz party to seal their engagement.
But Lucy said she felt abandoned, angry and hurt because he had decided to walk away.
The 23-year-old said at the time: “I’ve been crying constantly. But what hurts most is that he won’t tell me why he wants to break up.
“I’ve been phoning him but he won’t return my calls. He’s blanking me and I’m utterly confused by the situation.”
A spokesman for the band said today: “Something like this brings any differences they had to the table.
“They sorted out their differences very recently.”
Ant spent today with mother and baby and has plans to do the same tomorrow.
