Grammy-winning singer Natalie Cole, who suffers from hepatitis C, was resting at her Los Angeles home today after being released from hospital.

Publicist Maureen O’Connor said Cole checked out several days ago and was “feeling a lot better”.

The 58-year-old daughter of jazz legend Nat King Cole entered a New York City hospital on September 12 as a result of side effects from her medication and a heavy work schedule.

O’Connor said Cole had been receiving kidney dialysis which was not related to her struggle with hepatitis C, a liver disease spread through contact with infected blood.
