Three men have been arrested following an armed robbery in Dublin last night.

At around 10.05p.m. the men wearing balaclavas entered a shop in Lusk village armed with what appeared to be a firearm and threatened staff.

They attempted to leave the shop but were caught by detectives from Balbriggan Garda Station.

Two firearms were recovered, along with all of the property taken, a car was also seized at the scene.

The men, who are aged in their mid 20s to late 40s, are currently being held at Swords, Raheny and Clontarf Garda Station.
