Soccer: Aberdeen boss to 'reconsider' Foran move

Aberdeen manager Ebbe Skovdahl has confirmed that he is reconsidering a move for Shelbourne striker Richie Foran after watching the Irish U-21 international being sent off for the fourth time this season.

Aberdeen manager Ebbe Skovdahl has confirmed that he is reconsidering a move for Shelbourne striker Richie Foran after watching the Irish U-21 international being sent off for the fourth time this season.

Skovdahl was in Dublin for Shels' game against Bohemians at Tolka Park on Friday and saw Foran receive a red card, apparently for elbowing Bohs defender Dave Hill, after just 15 minutes.

Skovdahl described the incident as "disappointing", adding "it means I have some thinking to do before I consider the next step".

Shelbourne could expect to net around £150,000 from the sale of Foran.
