CEMEX Ireland has today announced the completion of combined investments of €21m.

CEMEX Ireland has today announced the completion of combined investments of €21m.

They include the acquisition of Denis Tarrant & Sons Limited, an aggregates and ready-mixed concrete business in Co Tipperary, as well as mineral reserves in Co Cork and Co Kildare and a ready-mixed concrete operation in Co Limerick.

"These strategic investments are important additions to growing our core businesses across the island of Ireland," said managing director Roger Gonzalez.

"The group will continue to focus its resources on those business segments and markets where we have the expertise to deliver value to our customers and superior financial returns to our shareholders."
