Garda raids net €197,000 worth of drugs
Gardaí at various locations throughout the country seized up to €197,000 of drugs following separate raids.
The Drugs Unit in Henry Street, Limerick seized one kilo of cocaine and seven kilos of cannabis with an estimated street value of €120,000 following the search of a vehicle in the Moyross area.
One man in his early 30's is being detained at Henry Street Garda Station.
In a combined operation between gardaí in Arklow and the Drugs Unit and detectives from Bray Garda Station a residence in the Bray area was searched and 4,500 ecstasy tablets were seized, along with a quantity of cocaine and cannabis.
Two men, both in their early 20's, are being detained in Bray Garda Station.
Gardai from the Donegal Drugs unit seized ecstasy with an estimated street value of 12,000 after the search of a house in the Letterkenny area. One man in his 20's is being detained at Letterkenny Garda Station.
