Bohs blizted relegation doomed Galway to keep their own hopes of Europe from the league on course.

Glen Crowe hit his 17th goal of the season to put Bohs in front on 29 minutes when heading home Dave Morrison's cross.

Morrison fired in the second off a post on the hour before Colin Fortune got one back for United eight minutes later.

But Morrison set up Trevor Molloy to seal Bohs' win with a third goal on 74 minutes.

United then had Nigel Keady sent off four minutes later for a kick on Mark Rutherford.

Paul Byrne and skipper Kevin Hunt then the gloss on Bohs' win with further goals in the final few minutes.
