The X Factor's One Direction remind Take That of a younger version of themselves.
The 'Back For Good' hitmakers - who recently announced plans to reform as a five-piece band for an upcoming tour and album - joked that while think the young hopefuls are very talented, they look like five mini versions of Take That's Mark Owen.
Gary Barlow - who is joined in the band by Mark, Robbie Williams, Jason Orange and Howard Donald, said: "There's always a faster, younger, better model waiting to replace us. They're quite good actually. One Direction look like us when we first started out. They're like five Mark Owens."
The British group - who parted ways in 1995 - also admitted they find it "scary" how quickly their 20-year career in the music industry has flashed before them.
Mark added: "We started out 20 years ago - I'm now as old as my dad was when we first started out, it's scary!"
