Kilkenny is preparing to celebrate the county's record 31st GAA All-Ireland SHC hurling title win this evening.
The Cats produced a superlative performance to overcome Waterford by 23 points, 3-30 to 1-13 at Croke Park yesterday.
A brace of first half goals from Eddie Brennan helped the three-in-a-row champions to a 12 point half-time lead over their neighbours.
TJ Reid also netted for Brian Cody's side in the second half while Eoin Kelly scored an impressive 1-9 for the Deise.
The team is expected to arrive in the Marble City at 6.30pm.
Kilkenny were also crowned minor champions yesterday defeating Galway by 3-6 to 0-13.
