Gardai searching for a Donegal woman missing since the early hours of New Year’s Day are examining a car discovered at Buncrana pier.

Gardai searching for a Donegal woman missing since the early hours of New Year’s Day are examining a car discovered at Buncrana pier.

Nodlaig McDaid, 26, was last seen at 3am on January 1 by friends who welcomed in the New Year with her.

Gardai and an Aer Corps helicopter have been involved in an extensive search for Ms McDaid and her car.

She is originally from Muff and worked in Letterkenny.
