Gardaí arrest two men in Louth assault probe

Two men have been arrested by gardaí investigating the death of a 25-year-old man in Co. Louth earlier this year.

Two men have been arrested by gardaí investigating the death of a 25-year-old man in Co. Louth earlier this year.

Errol Dunne from Grangebellew died in hospital after being seriously assaulted at a pub in Clogherhead on March 7.

The two men - who are 27 and 35 - were arrested in Castleblaney, Co Monaghan early this morning.

They are being questioned at Drogheda Garda Station under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984.
