The body of the man, who gardaí believe could be a missing foreign national, was found yesterday on the Sally Gap road at Luggala.

A full post mortem examination will be carried out this morning.

The body remained at the scene overnight pending a full investigation by the state pathologist Marie Cassidy.

Gardaí believed the man could be a missing foreign national in his 30’s who had been living in Bray and went missing after leaving his friend's house in Shankill eight weeks ago.

The cause of death is unknown, but Gardaí are treating it as suspicious.

Although the victim may have been known to Gardai but his identity won't be released until relatives are informed.
