Bray Wanderers know that only a win will do against Galway United at Terryland Park as they look to avoid relegation from the Premier Division (kick-off 7.45pm).

Galway will be missing Garry Breen and Shane Guthrie through suspension so Sean Kelly and Seamus Conneely are expected to play at centre-half.

United boss Ian Foster said: "I was disappointed with the manner of the defeat (in Dundalk) more than the defeat.

“I don't like losing, but I will take it if we work hard and make life difficult for the opposition, but we didn't do it particularly in the second half.”

Wanderers will travel plan without Paul Byrne, who remains injured, and the suspended Derek Foran.

There are serious doubts about central defender Chris Deans (ankle), winger Gary McCabe (ankle) and defender Gary Cronin (thigh).

Bray boss Eddie Gormley said: “We worked hard in training this week to come up with a few new ideas to go there and win. Draws are not much use now.

“It will be difficult. They are very good at home and will be keen to get back to winning ways after last Friday.”
