A 45-year-old woman has been charged with murder, police in the North said tonight.

A 45-year-old woman has been charged with murder, police in the North said tonight.

She is expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning.

The charge relates to the death of a 46-year-old man in the Maymount area of East Belfast overnight on the evening of Monday March 9.

A man arrested in connection with the investigation has been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
