Northern Secretary Paul Murphy has said he regrets UUP leader David Trimble's walkout from round-table talks in Stormont yesterday.

Mr Trimble walked out of the meeting because of a leaked Irish Government briefing paper which claimed that the IRA is still recruiting, gathering intelligence and acquiring weapons.

SDLP leader Mark Durkan said none of the issues that need addressing were altered by the leak or by David Trimble's actions.
