Love: Being ugly means I'm good in bed

Courtney Love thinks she is good in bed because she is ugly.

Courtney Love thinks she is good in bed because she is ugly.

The Hole singer – who was previously married to late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and has dated stars including Smashing Pumpkins rocker Billy Corgan and The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas – claims she had to try harder to impress men because she couldn’t wow them with good looks.

She told US TV show ‘On The Record’: “I’m better because I was never pretty. Pretty girls just lie there. Us girls who grew up a little more homely have to try a lot harder. That's why pretty girls never threaten me - it's like, yeah, you want to take me on? Take me on. Go for it."

Last week, Courtney claimed she had bedded Gwen Stefani’s husband Gavin Rossdale but has now insisted he was not married when their romance took place – though she does admit to having an affair with another betrothed man.

She tweeted: “gavin hes lovely i always liked him we had a good time but werent meant to be married he is a sweet boy and i miss his charm. i wouldnt do a married man thing i did once and DISASTER terrible terrible idea.

“and NO the married guy wasnt Gavin! as if! im shocked yall dont know we dated., 8 months, it was fun now get over it i dont kiss and tell.

“until NOW i kissed and told about something i assumed everyone KNEW! cos everyone in my world knows. (sic)”
