Injured Colm Carroll (cruciate) will not be involved, although he has now returned to taking an almost full part in training.

Liam Kearney was substituted with a knee injury against Waterford and is rated as doubtful for the clash, while Sean Kelly (knee) and Gareth Farrelly (groin) are both also struggling with injuries.

"It is important for us now to build on a good performance down in Waterford," said City boss Damien Richardson.

"To achieve that, we must retain the bit between our teeth between now and the end of the season. Our focus is to achieve European qualification through the league.

"Bray will be smarting from their defeat up in Derry. It’s been a difficult weekend for them, and they will be intent on setting the record straight. I would expect that we will face a reaction from them, but we have to be able to deal with that.

"We are the home team, and it is up to us to set the tone and the tempo of the game."

Bray captain Clive Delaney and midfielder Mark Duggan return for the trip to Cork as both served suspensions on Friday at the Brandywell.

Also in the travelling party for the match, but unlikely to take part, is Gary McCabe.

He was stretchered off at half time in Derry with a knee injury that looked worse than it later appeared to be.

Still missing through injury are Paul Dunphy (wrist), Colm Tresson (heel) and Derek Tyrrell (finger).

John Broderick, who played the second-half on Friday, may make a second successive appearance after a five-week absence.
