Donegal star Brendan Devenney has pulled out of this year's International Rules series against Australia at Croke Park.

In the wake of Donegal's All-Ireland quarter-final replay defeat to Dublin, the St Eunan's man has opted to give 100% to his soccer career with Finn Harps.

He said: "I just wouldn't have the time for it all this year. Jonathan Speake (Finn Harps manager) has been very good to me in giving me time off in the past so I want to try and repay him now."
