Lee Westwood may have been disappointed with only third place in the Andalucian Open, but it has still stretched his lead in the European Ryder Cup points race.
Padraig Harrington’s joint fourth place finish in New Orleans was not enough to move him into an automatic cup place, but he is now up to sixth on the world points list from which the first five members of Nick Faldo’s team will come.
