Gardaí 'fully co-operating' with Cory investigation
The retired Canadian judge investigating suspicions of collusion in six controversial murders during the Troubles has said the Gardaí are fully co-operating with his inquiry.
Peter Cory was appointed by the Irish and British Governments to investigate allegations of garda involvement in the murders of Lord Justice Maurice Gibson and his wife Cecily in a 1987 car bomb and the murders of RUC men Harry Breen and Bob Buchanan in an IRA ambush in 1989.
He is also investigating allegations of British army and RUC collusion in the murders of solicitors Pat Finucane and Rosemary Nelson, LVF leader Billy Wright and Portadown man Robert Hamill.
