Former Chelsea striker Peter Osgood has expressed sympathy for Mark Bosnich after the Australian's positive drugs test.
The Blues keeper was charged by the Football Association with breaching doping regulations and bringing the game into disrepute following a positive test for cocaine.
He has been suspended from all footballing activities until the two charges are heard, although he has until January 10 to respond in writing to the charges.
The FA's move is hardly unexpected - the news of the Bosnich's first positive test for cocaine leaked out on November 10 and analysis of a B sample last week confirmed the finding.
