Ferguson to offer £25m (€40.6m) for Nesta - reports
Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson is reportedly planning to offer £25m (€40.6m) for Lazio defender Alessandro Nesta.
Ferguson was in the Olympique Stadium in Rome yesterday to watch the Italian play against AS Roma. However, Nesta is believed to favour a move to Juventus, fuelling speculation that Ferguson could swoop for Juve’s Lilian Thuram should he fail to land Nesta.
