Cork City entertain Drogheda United in tonight’s Setanta Sports Cup clash at Turner’s Cross, kick-off 8.05pm.

Danny Murphy is ruled out for City as he is serving a suspension, while Gareth Farrelly is struggling with a knee injury and is doubtful.

Billy Woods is another doubt as he has an injured ankle, while captain Dan Murray will be available for selection after missing Friday night’s game against Shamrock Rovers with flu.

Cork boss Alan Mathews said: "Drogheda have strengthened over the close season, and of course they have won this competition for the last two years.

"We are going into tonight’s game in the knowledge that it will be a difficult one, but also knowing that if we approach it in a very positive manner and play to our potential then we can get the right result.”

Drogheda should see the return of Tony Grant although captain Declan O'Brien and Jason Gavin are both a week away from full fitness and will not travel to Cork.
