The 2001 winner, will now carry 9st 10lb as the weights have gone up 2lb due to the withdrawal of the injured Smokin Beau. Continent, trained by David Nicholls, has been drawn in stall 18.

Ante-post favourite Prince Aaron, who is trained by Conrad Allan, will carry 8st 12lb that includes a 7lb penalty for a recent Newmarket victory and has been drawn in stall three.

Texas Gold, who was another leading fancy after his victory at Goodwood last Sunday, bypasses the race in favour of the Group Three Dubai International Airport World Trophy at Newbury on the same day.
