World Snooker chiefs are being forced to find a new home for the Masters tournament.
SAGA Insurance came in at the 11th hour to sponsor this year’s event at the Wembley Conference Centre.
But after 27 successful years at the venue it is being knocked down to make way for redevelopment in the area because of the new Wembley Stadium.
A World Snooker spokesman said: “The future of Wembley Conference Centre itself is out of our hands.
“If we are not able to return next year we have several other options available as well as investigating the possibility of a tender process as many venues/cities have expressed an interest in becoming the host for this event.
“We will ensure that we find a suitable venue for the SAGA Insurance Masters, one of our most prestigious tournaments.”
