VIDEO: Two escape injury in Longford helicopter crash
Two people have survived a helicopter crash in Co Longford.
It is understood it was trying to land at the back of the Rustic Inn pub and restaurant in Abbeyshrule when it crashed.
Gardaí have said that the helicopter had slowed down to land, before it crashed, limiting any damage.
The pilot and passenger escaped uninjured.

It is also understood some people inside the pub were treated by paramedics, but no one sustained serious injuries.
