Clint Eastwood has been sworn in as a state parks commissioner.
The ceremony was part of the 100th birthday celebration for Big Basin Redwood State Park in California.
At his swearing in, Eastwood encouraged conservationists to "put your money where your mouth is."
And as he held up his new parks commissioner badge, he jokingly told the crowd: "You're all under arrest."
Eastwood, 72, said his grandmother used to bring him to Big Basin, the oldest state park in California.
The 20,000 acre park, which has redwoods and 80 miles of hiking trails, draws about a million visitors a year.
