Man killed in Donegal crash

A man in his early 30s has been killed in a road crash in Co. Donegal.

A man in his early 30s has been killed in a road crash in Co. Donegal.

The single-vehicle crash happened at about 10am this morning on the Muff to Moville Road in the townland of Clar.

Gardaí say the car left the road and hit a fence, throwing both occupants from the vehicle.

One of the men in his early 30s was fatally injured.

The other man who was in his late 20s was seriously injured and was rushed to Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry.

The scene is currently closed pending an examination by Garda forensic collision investigators and diversions are in place.

Gardaí in Buncrana are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them.
