There was further bad news on the jobs front today with the announcement the Eurologic plant in Dublin is to close.

75 job losses will go with the closure of Eurologic in Clonshaugh. The company is closing the Dublin plant within the next six months.

Labour TD Tommy Broughan says it's a further disaster for Clonshaugh, following a series of closures and withdrawals by other hi-tech companies.

Deputy Broughan says during the 1990's, Clonshaugh Industrial Estate was home to a number of major employers, but since Gateway pulled out a few years ago, there has been a steady decline in the area.
