The Chief Executive of the IDA Barry O'Leary has confirmed a leading international insurer is about to bring a significant operation to Ireland.
Mr O'Leary is pointing to the investment as evidence of Ireland's attractiveness as a business destination for international firms.
He said bad news like job losses at Pfizer should be balanced against new announcements - there have been seven in the past two weeks.
And he is confident that another announcement next week will further show Ireland's reputation is "holding up".
