Tornado hits Oklahoma
A tornado swept through Oklahoma City, flattening dozens of homes and scattering cars and injuring 118 people, 20 critically.
The twister struck just as the afternoon rush hour was beginning, ripping roofs off homes and businesses and damaging a General Motors plant.
In May 1999, a tornado ripped through the Oklahoma City area, killing 44 people.
